How do I contact the site administrators?
You can e-mail us via our contact form.
I forgot my password! What do I do now?
To recover a lost password, click here and enter the e-mail address with which you registered. Your password will be sent to you shortly. Please make sure that your mailbox is not full and that you can accept e-mail from site5.com, otherwise the e-mail may bounce and you would not get a new password e-mailed to you.
I forgot everything! Password and username. What do I do?
If you can't find your registration e-mail and have tried logging in with no success, please contact me. When you do, please let me know what e-mail address you used when signing up and if you have any idea what your username could be. Anything that might help me find it for you!
What if I don't get an e-mail containing my new password?
The easiest thing to do is contact us and I can manually change your password. AOL and Hotmail especially seem to have e-mails bounce back to me, so make sure that you have space in your inbox.
How do I change my password?
Login and go to Account Info -> Edit Bio. At the bottom of the Edit Bio page there is a place where you can change your password to whatever you want. If you have any problems after this, like the new password isn't working, feel free to contact me then.
What is story tracking?
Story tracking will mark stories that you want to track and keep up with. It will show what date you last read that story on, as well as marking a story as "New" if it has been updated since your last read date. Please note - you will NOT receive any e-mails saying that a story has been updated if you just track a story. If you want an e-mail, you must also add that story to your favorites list. These two features really work best together if you want to stay on top of when stories are updated.
Can I get e-mails for when I have a new review/have a response to a new review/when a story updated?
Yes, yes, and yes! Login and go to Account Info -> Edit Preferences. You have several ticky boxes to choose from - "Contact for new reviews," "Contact when author responds to review," and "Contact when favorites are updated." You must have these selected if you want to get e-mails sent to your inbox. If you aren't getting any e-mails after you have checked these boxes, please check your spam/trash folder before contacting us.
Can I add images to my story?
Yes! Simply upload your photo to a site like PhotoBucket and you can directly link to that image in your story. Please make sure to use theHTML code, not Message Board code when posting an image. If you want to use an image in your summary, which will show on the "Most Recent" and any other browsing list, please try to make sure that your image is no longer than apprx. 500x300 pixels. If it is much larger than this size, you can always use the HTML Thumbnail code on the summary and then the full size image within the story itself.
How do I get the age consent pop-up to go away?
The age-consent pop-up is something I felt that was still important to keep at this archive. While at the site, it should only come up once, unless you nagivate away from the site and come back and your cache doesn't remember. If you are a member of the site, you can go into Account Info -> Edit Preferences and turn off the pop-up. It still may pop up when beginning stories, sorry for the hassle.
How do I submit stories?
If you have not already done so, please register for an account. Once you've logged in, click on Account Information and choose Add Story. The form presented there will allow you to submit your story. Please follow the terms and regulations of the site when posting a story, especially in regards to grammar/punctuation and making sure multi-chapter stories are added correctly.
I'm trying to add a story and _______ happens! Help!
If you are having troubles adding a story - if something like an unknown series shows up, please contact us. Sometimes weird glitches happen during Preview that will go away once you submit your story. If you submit the story and see the same error, please get in touch.
Someone is clearly violating the site guidelines. What can I do?
If you see a member clearly violating the rules, whether it is leaving off important warnings, leaving flame and nasty reviews, and especially plagarism - which is NOT tolerated here at all! - or if you are worried about anything going on, please fill out our contact form and let us know. If a specific story is violating the rules, you can fill out a form via a link at the top of the chapter. If you suspect anyone of plagarising another story, either another SPN story, published fiction, or a story from another fandom, this is taken very seriously, so please contact me right away.
What kinds of stories are allowed?
Here is a general breakdown of the categories for all stories:
Sam/Dean
Stories in the Supernatural-verse. Please do NOT place stories in the Sam/Dean category - a story must go into one of the subcategories listed below.
Other pairings and pre-slash allowed, but ultimately, the main pairing must be Sam/Dean.
1. Pre-Series - Anything that takes place before the season 1 episode "Pilot."
2. Overall Series - Stories that take place anytime within the entire series with no specific spoilers.
3. Season 1 - Stories that take place between "Pilot" and "Devil's Trap."
4. Season 2 - Stories that take place between "In My Time of Dying" and "All Hell Breaks Loose."
5. Season 3 - Stories that take place between "The Magnificent Seven" and "No Rest for the Wicked."
6. Season 4 - Stories that take place between "Lazarus Rising" and "Lucifer Rising."
7. Season 5 - Stories that take place between "Sympathy for the Devil" and "Swan Song."
8. Season 6 - Stories that take place between "Exile on Main St" and 6x22
9. Post-Series - Stories that take place in the future, outside the time frame of the current season.
10. Alternate Universe - Stories with major changes (Sam and Dean aren't hunters, they aren't brothers, etc. but are still "Sam" and "Dean")
Jared/Jensen
RPS stories involving the two actors who play Sam and Dean in Supernatural, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.
Other pairings and pre-slash are allowed, but J2 must remain the main pairing.
1. Pre-SPN - Stories where Jared and Jensen meet before filming Supernatural.
2. Post-SPN - Stories that take place after filming Supernatural is over.
3. Alternate Universe - There was no Supernatural and/or the boys are living different lives, like Jared is a repair man and Jensen is blind. You get the idea!
*Please make sure that if your story goes into one of the sub-categories you do NOT also place it in the main J2 category.The main Jared/Jensen category is for any story that takes place during the filming of Supernatural, at SPN or movie promoting events, conventions, etc.

What are the ratings used on the site?
G - No sex or bad
language; must be suitable for all audiences.
PG - May contain few material not suitable for young children.
PG-13 - May contain bad language, sexual overtones, and drug
usage.
R - Adult material, such as bad language, violence, sex, drug
usage, dealing with adult themes.
NC-17 - Adult story with explicit sex scenes, sexually-oriented
language, or excessive violence.
