Frankly, I was disgusted with the ending. You turned Jensen into a killer, who destroyed the family of Jared. And Jared? He just stood there, watching his father lost the family fortune, even though he had 5 billion in his name, so he could very well act as the gray knight, but he did not move a finger to help him. I know, his father killed Josh, but even so, Jared was very cold.
If my mother sold me to the journalists, for half a million ... well, I do not know what I would do. Maybe I stayed bewildered, but felt sorry for Sherill. I waited for Jared to seek to set things right with her, that is him to offer 50 million. Maybe then she would still be alive, without leaving the country, but with enough money to hire a good lawyer for the husband, or live his old age with dignity. Because, it is not a woman has no qualms, she has to pay with her life.

I was thinking that instead of present-day New York, this was a medieval Italy, and instead of Padalecki, the name was Borgia, all this would be perfectly acceptable to the prevailing moral standards.
Now the good part: You not only write well, but also write in a way that we do not realize the author, I mean, we only see things happen before our eyes, just feel Jared interacting with Jensen. We do not realize clerical errors or language, you do not overlap the plot or the characters, and this is very good. I do not know if I made me clear, but the experience was the same of reading good books of good authors, or watching a good movie with a great storyline. Congrats!

I very rarely use this site anymore and have moved everything over to AO3, so I was really surprised to see a notification pop up for SD and for this story (which I haven't thought about in years, to be honest!). This story is definitely set in a dark and amoral world but in the "present". It was a challenge to give it a realistic feel, but SO many things are just utterly implausible, even in that fictional world! Haha. I think, as a writer, that was the fun part (if that makes sense). Thanks for reading the story and for the feedback. If I could go back and write this story again, I would make character and plot adjustments. Hopefully, my storytelling has improved since I first wrote this! :)

That was seriously fantastic. I mean I was just addicted to it. I kept hurrying to read another chapter. Jared was just adorable. I loooved him. He was stubborn and adorable. Jensen was a complete jackass at first but I have to admit I totally fell in love with him. Jared's parents were awful, horible people. Mama got what she deserved. I guess that shows you NOBODY screws with Jensen Ackles husband. I'm worried that eventually Jared's going to find out hubby and his mom whacked though.
