Hold on a minute...I need to get an entire box of Kleenex after that heartbreaking ordeal. As always, another beautifully written story honed to within an inch of its life. Glorious characterizations, rich description, interesting spin on motives and personalities. I don't like that they hurt eachother like that at the end, but it works here since it is so freaking angsty. You are my Supernatural slash-writing hero, hands down. Sending this and you straight to 'Favorites.'Thanks for giving us such awesome fics and please, please, please keep writing.

The ending always makes me sad, like I sort of don't mind that Dean gave everything for Sam but it's just so cruel that he literally had nothing left to hold onto besides Sam.
I love this story - awesome work, you write emotions so well. :)
